The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is leading a national effort to streamline solar financing and reduce financing costs, with particular focus on standardization of transaction documents and contracts. To support the effort, NREL convened the Solar Access to Public Capital working group, a team of solar industry leaders versed in solar financing and related contracts.
SolarTech will host a webinar on Friday, March 22, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time (12:00 p.m. Eastern) to discuss these efforts. Speakers from NREL, Tioga Energy, SCS Renewables, and KL Gates. The panel will explore the complexities of solar financing in residential and commercial markets; what opportunities exist for streamlining, and/or developing more effective methods; and how the broader industry can support these efforts.
