DOE Webinar to Highlight Renewable Energy Parks

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will host a webinar on March 19, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. MDT to discuss how two cities integrated multiple renewable energy technologies to create renewable energy parks. The event is part of DOE’s Community Renewable Energy Deployment activity, known as CommRE.

The webinar will feature presentations from representatives in Ellensburg, Wash., and Hempstead, New York. Both cities have successfully integrated solar, wind, and other renewables into area energy parks. More details about each city’s activities are on the CommRE website.

Participation is free and registration is required. For more information about this and other CommRE webinars, visit the CommRE webinars page on DOE’s website.
