The team’s regional workshops, “Solar 3.0 Free Training to Reduce Soft Costs,” highlight best practices and standards in the areas of solar permitting, installation, interconnection, and inspection. Presentations by experts from solar, electrical, and safety organizations including the International Association of Electrical Inspectors and Underwriters Laboratories will help you make your local solar industry competitive. If you work for a municipality, utility, company, organization, or an Authority Having Jurisdiction involved in permitting, interconnecting, selling, installing, inspecting, or financing residential and commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, these workshops are made for you!
“Solar 3.0 Free Training to Reduce Soft Costs” includes a session about the 2011 National Electrical Code and the 2012 International Fire Code, International Building Code, International Residential Code, and International Green Construction Code as they pertain to PV installations. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available.
Events are typically held 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. local time (registration starts at 8:00 AM) unless otherwise noted. Continental breakfast and lunch are included. Registration is free and seats are limited. Click the workshop location for details and to register.
